Supported Independent Living in Kent

Bliss homes provides the highest quality of accommodation and support services for children and young people who have never lived independently prior to moving into our homes.

Our services for supported independent living in Kent provide housing accommodation and other support services for children living with mental health and/or learning disabilities or sensory impairments, as well as young people struggling with addiction and eating disorders, without bias and prejudice.

As a housing unit and support service, we support these vulnerable individuals in developing their independence skills and work towards living independently, long-term, in the future.

Housing services

Our homes are a place where vulnerable children and young adults can find confidence and gain real autonomy, with our supported independent living in Kent. These services a for children who are 16+ and 18+, in transition from childhood to adulthood. These are children's homes, with adults on-hand in a supportive capacity. With the service of our organisation, the child will receive:

  • Advice and guidance for young people leaving care.
  • Respite services and short-term accommodation.
  • Support for young people living in their own accommodation.
  • Educational support.
  • Advice on training, employment and health Management Structures.

All of this is done with the end goal of seeing them step out into true independence, fulfilling their potential and growing as human beings. Take a look at our Services page for more information on just how we help these children.
